THE TASK
SIDS and Kids (as it was known then) were a forty-year-old organisation responsible for the single most successful non-government-funded public health campaign in Australia - the reduction of sudden infant death syndrome (cot death). But their success masked a greater community need and the funding to tackle it.

THE WORK
We conducted a sustainable funding audit for SIDS and Kids that included national and global benchmarking, stakeholder interviews and research and insight analysis. This process led to clear findings and recommendations regarding a more impactful and sustainable future.

THE RESULT
The audit recommendations formed the basis for a company-wide transformation from a federated model to a national brand we now know as Red Nose. The brand story and audience targets changed to enable the business to grow. The market analysis and resulting strategy created the foundation for Red Nose to secure and/or re-sign multiple partners including CUA and Big W.
